What does it mean to whitelist a withdrawal address?

Whitelisting a withdrawal address means that you specify a list of pre-approved addresses allowing funds to be received when initiating a withdrawal from your account. Only addresses on this whitelist will be accepted for withdrawals.

You can easily whitelist a withdrawal address in your Bake account. Please see the instructions below:

1) In the Bake mobile app, please go to your settings by clicking on Account (bottom-right side) and then scroll down to and select the Manage withdrawal address item.

2) On the next screen, you will see a list of your previously whitelisted withdrawal addresses (if you have any). Select Add withdrawal address to whitelist a new one.

3) On the next screen, please select an asset and the withdrawal address you wish to whitelist, then tap the Register this address button below.

After that, follow the instructions on the screen. When the address is added and registered, it will appear on the list of saved addresses when making a withdrawal. If it is the first withdrawal to the address, you will get a withdrawal confirmation email sent to you. After you confirm by clicking on the link inside that email, the address will be considered as whitelisted.
