Simple Step-by-Step Guide: Instructions for your Account Verification (KYC)

Web Instructions

STEP 1 - Getting Level 0 verified

Once registered and logged in, click on the VERIFY PHONE NUMBER button on the top of your dashboard.

Alternatively, you can find this under Account verification in your settings. If you want to get there right away, click this link: Account Verification.

Once there, click the button VERIFY PHONE NUMBER to start the verification process.

STEP 2 - Getting Level 0 verified

The first part of the verification is the verification of your mobile phone number. Please choose your country code and put in your mobile phone number. This will send you an SMS, which you will input during the next screen in order to verify your phone number.

During this step, if you did not receive any SMS, you will also be given the option to receive a call instead.

After you verified your phone number, you are now Level 0 verified, congrats!

STEP 3 - Getting Level 1 verified

To start your Level 1 verification, click on the UNLOCK LEVEL 1 button on the top of your dashboard.

STEP 4 - Getting Level 1 verified

You will get to this screen. Please read and agree to the Consent to Personal Data Processing and click NEXT.

STEP 5 - Getting Level 1 verified

Choose your country of identity documents. Select the type of document to be submitted for KYC. (Identity card or passport) Once selected, upload the respective document accordingly. For more information about this step, please check: Proof of Identity (POI) Requirements for KYC

Once uploaded, proceed to the next step. Alternatively, you can choose to continue using your mobile devices as well (in that case, please scroll down to Mobile - STEP 4).

STEP 6 - Getting Level 1 verified

The next step after uploading your POI is the selfie verification. Do the selfie verification by turning your head slowly in a circular motion.

After submitting your POI and Selfie, you will see that your status will say IN REVIEW. Please wait until your documents have been reviewed.

After a successful review, you are now Level 1 verified, congrats!

STEP 7 - Getting Level 2 verified

If you want to use Bake without any limitations, you can start your Level 2 verification, under Account verification in your settings. If you want to get there right away, click this link: Account Verification.

STEP 8 - Getting Level 2 verified

Upload your proof of address. Please note that Screenshots/Photocopies (photos of screens) are not accepted. If your proof of address document is only available digitally, you may submit the full PDF. STEP 8

After submitting your POA, similar to the Level 1 verification, you will see that your status will say IN REVIEW. Please wait until your documents have been reviewed. After successfully verifying your POA, you should see this screen.

That's it! Once all the categories in the settings are ticked in green, you have successfully completed your KYC and are now Level 2 verified, congrats! If there is an error, kindly follow the system's instructions for follow up or reach out to Customer Support for further assistance.

Mobile Instructions

STEP 1 - Confirm email address

Please confirm your email address by entering the 6-digit code sent to your email. If you did not receive an email, please check our troubleshooting guide here.

STEP 2 - Confirm your phone number

Once you have registered and confirmed your email, please proceed to register your phone number. You will receive an SMS with a 6-digit code. Please input this code to verify your phone number. During this step, if you did not receive any SMS, you will also be given the option to receive a call instead.

STEP 3 - Verify your account

After you confirm your phone number, you will proceed to the next page, where you may click on verify manually.

After that, you will get to this screen. Please read and agree to the Consent to Personal Data Processing and press “Continue”.

STEP 4 - Verify your identity 1/2

Choose your country of identity documents. Select the type of document to be submitted for KYC (Identity card or passport).

Once selected, upload the respective document accordingly. For the ID Card, please upload the front and backside.

Once uploaded, proceed to the next step.

STEP 5 - Verify your identity 2/2

The next step after uploading your POI is the selfie verification. Do the selfie verification by turning your head slowly in a circular motion.

If you want to use Bake without any limitations, you may start the second part of the verification process.

STEP 6 - Verify your address (POA)

Upload your proof of address. You may either take a photo directly via the camera or upload a picture (of a physical document) or a file (digital documents, e.g. a PDF file).

Please note that Screenshots/Photocopies (photos of screens) are not accepted. If your proof of address document is only available digitally, you may submit the full PDF. STEP 7 - Verification status

After submitting your POI and POA, you will see that the status will be IN REVIEW. Please wait until your documents have been reviewed.

That's it! You have successfully completed your KYC, congrats! If there is an error, kindly follow the system's instructions or reach out to our Customer Success Team for further assistance.
