What is the "Reward Booster"?
The reward booster is a multiplier on the base rewards that you earn by 2X or 2.5X depending on the ELITE membership tier.
To illustrate, let’s say you are earning $10 a month in rewards from your allocations on Bake. With ELITE yearly, where you get 2.5X on your rewards (2.5X = 150% as much), the reward booster amount will be equivalent to $15.
What is the reward booster (or monthly boost) "cap"?
The monthly boost cap is basically stating the maximum amount of extra rewards that you can get with the reward booster.
With the monthly plan, you can get additional rewards of up to $15 per month. With the yearly plan, you can get additional rewards up to $100 per month.
Where do the additional rewards from the booster come from?
These additional rewards are coming from the commissions that Bake gets of each product. This is our way of thanking our most loyal customers for joining ELITE early.
Where can I see if I have received a booster?
You can currently see this under your Transaction History. There you should be able to see an additional booster transaction on your eligible rewards. In addition to that, you will get a weekly summary of your ELITE reward booster earnings via email. We are currently working on integrating the rewards into the Rewards Dashboard on the mobile app as well in the near future.
Does the reward booster apply to all Bake services?
The reward booster will be applicable to the following services:
Staking
Liquidity Mining
YieldVault
Bake may update the reward booster’s applicability to its services from time-to-time on this page, or in its Terms & Conditions.
What cryptocurrency is the reward booster distributed in?
Payouts from the reward booster will be paid in-kind, i.e. in the cryptocurrency that you have allocated.
One exception is Liquidity Mining, where the reward booster payouts will be in DFI.
For e.g. if you have allocations in BTC-DFI Liquidity Mining and ETH staking and are an ELITE, you will receive payouts in DFI and ETH.*
*This would be the case if the reward booster amount is below the maximum limit specified by Bake (the “cap”). If the amount exceeds the cap, the distribution of the reward booster will be based on the reward payout schedule for the product(s) that you have allocations in.
Is the ELITE reward booster (2X/2.5X) stacked on top of the 5-year (1.5X) or 10-year (2X) Freezer Program rewards?
Yes, if you have staked DFI in our 5-year (1.5X) or 10-year (2X) Freezer and have joined ELITE, you’ll be able to enjoy the reward booster on top of the 1.5X / 2X reward multiplier for Freezer. That’s up to 4.5X on your returns.
I have allocations in different Bake products, will I receive reward boosters on all of them?
This depends on whether the total reward booster payout amount for the eligible products exceeds the maximum limit specified by Bake (the “cap”).
If it’s below the cap, you’ll receive a reward booster on all rewards generated from your allocations.
If it exceeds the cap, the reward booster will be paid out based on the reward payout schedule, up till the cap is reached. (The reward payout schedule refers to when the normal rewards are paid out for the products that you have allocations in.)
For example, if you have allocations in Staking and Liquidity Mining, and the Staking rewards are paid out prior to the Liquidity Mining rewards, you will receive a reward booster on the Staking rewards up till the cap is reached, and there will not be any reward booster on the Liquidity Mining rewards.
How often is the reward booster paid out?
The reward booster is distributed along with your normal rewards. You’ll be notified of the reward booster payouts on a weekly basis through our app (web/mobile) > Transactions Page.
Are payouts from the reward booster paid out together with the normal rewards or are those separate transactions?
The reward booster payout will be recorded as a separate transaction from normal reward payouts.
Will the booster rewards be auto-compounded back into the product?
Yes, your ELITE booster rewards are automatically compounded or staked if you have the auto-compound or auto-stake function switched on for Staking, YieldVault and Liquidity Mining respectively.
Booster rewards will not be auto-compounded for Earn.
Does the reward cap rollover to the next month if I have yet to reach the amount for the current month?
No, there is no monthly rollover for the reward cap.
Can the reward booster change (increase or decrease) during my ELITE membership?
No, it will not change during your monthly/yearly ELITE membership period, and any changes will only come into effect upon renewal.
When does the reward cap reset?
The reward cap is based on the day that you enrolled into the membership. It resets the same day of the following month.
